About the event
The Raleigh People's Budget Coalition* is hosting a community forum to discuss community concerns around safety. The meeting is a community-led conversation where candidates running for City Council and Mayoral positions are invited but will not participate as panelists. Come to our Community Safety Forum at the Biltmore Hills Community Center to voice your need for safety and address the issues you care about.
In addition to your comments and questions, The Raleigh People's Budget Coalition will focus on:
1. lack of affordable housing and rampant gentrification
2. police violence funded by a bloated city budget
3. worker's rights and concerns
4. community concerns regarding food, health care, education, and transportation.
Join us on Tuesday, October 11th, from 6-8pm at the Biltmore Hills Community Center- 2615 Fitzgerald Dr, Raleigh, NC 27610.
