Raleigh City Council is the primary governing body that decides how our tax dollars are distributed across the municipal budget. After the Progressive 4 were elected in the midterms of 2022, we successfully made this alternative response program a conversation for a budget priority for the 2024-2025 fiscal year. While this is a huge win, the fight to get this program funded is not over.
